Unitus has taken on the responsibility of finding ways to reverse global poverty by offering small ($95-$200) loans to the more than 400 million families that qualify based on their poverty level. "Instead of the banker having to know everything about the client...the neighbors know a lot about each other and pick the good credit risks. What is character worth today? What ever happened to the hand-shake that got deals done? What happened to a man's word being solid? The problem is that people don't want to take the time to get to know you. They don't want to hear your story unless you have something to offer them. May that never be how I choose to evaluate others. As a human (sinner), I'm prone to look at the appearance first, but as a believer (forgiven) I'm commanded to seek out the heart...no mater what that takes.
I will strive to be a character creditor! How about you?

spend enough time with someone and you will find what's real. Talent recognizes talent and talent isn't always easy to find. One must be deep, intiutive, intelligent to see it. Who are the prospectors of our generation? Well, they are the ones who win in the end...sadly there are too few prospectors and too many posers.
I agree with your thoughts. Another company that I've found to count on character more is PDMusic. Check them out.
